Today I went to the Ecological Reserve on the edge of Buenos Aires. This little oasis has various walking trails amongst the marshes, ponds and coastline.
I was meant to fly to Sydney today but Qantas cancelled my flight. What’s a girl to do but take advantage of little cafes like this one? There are two important components missing from this scene. You know who you are, Ackroyd and Cox.
This evening I ate the most incredible steak at La Cabrera restaurant in Palermo, Buenos Aires. It melts in the mouth and this photo cannot possibly do it justice.
It’s spring time here (which is a bit like the British summer, but with less rain). At the weekend the parks are full of joggers, rollerskaters and cyclists. And the odd peddle-boat.
I’ll always be a city girl at heart.
I returned to Buenos Aires today and visited this awesome bookshop, in a converted theatre.
You may have noticed a trend in my recent posts. Yes, food and wine have featured rather highly on the agenda here in Argentina. Can you blame me?
