I really love the combination of city energy and beach life in Rio. There´s a running path along Ipanema beach which is a great way to start the day. Not that it compares in the SLIGHTEST to the regent’s canal in hackney.
Today I visited the Rio neighbourhood of Santa Teresa and on the way there went to the Escadaria Selarón created by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón.
Day 56 involved a 26 hour bus ride so I’ll skip ahead to 57 when I arrived in Rio de Janeiro. I´m staying in Ipanema, three blocks from the beach. It´s just like you see on the TV.
I didn’t realise that waterfalls could be this mind-blowing.
Hello fruit of Brasil. The men who run these stalls in the municiple market kept giving me taster of different fruits from around the country. The city is also full of incredible juice bars.
