Today I hiked to the most incredible tree I have ever seen. Thick vines grew over the original tree, which eventually died, rotted and was washed away leaving a hollow vine tree in it’s place. It is absolutely enormous and I climbed the inside to the top.
I can’t believe tree exists in the real world.
When the rainy season hits 6 hours of jenga seems like a perfectly reasonable way to spend time. Needless to say the next move ended this particular game.
Today I went to the Selvatura Park located in the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. I took a canopy tour which involved a series of zip lines over the forest canopy. The final wire was 1km long and was so much fun.
I got up at the crack of dawn this morning, with way too little sleep, and travelled to Costa Rica. I didn’t see any tourists all day until I got onto the final bus to Monteverde and there were FOUR people that I knew! The backpacker trail is a small world.
