Joe Banana’s does one of the best veg thalis in Goa so it was a fitting place to say farewell to my wonderful yogi friends.
I’m so sad to leave this amazing group of people and not forgetting those who have already been and gone. xxxx
Today we went down to Candolim for cafe chocolati’s famous brownies, beach time and dinner at pete’s shack. A great day out.
My dear friend Linda gets a cocktail on the beach most afternoons so today I decided to join her. Fresh coconut and pineapple equals the best piña coladas.
The ashtangis hit the dance floor at the Saturday night bazaar.
Practicing yoga six mornings a week means there’s little opportunity for late nights. However, Saturday is rest day so tonight (Friday) I actually stayed up past midnight!
Today it’s my friend Sophie’s birthday so we headed to the perfect lunch spot at Ashwam beach. The ‘restaurant’ consists of a single table overlooking the beach and Daniel, the chef, serves up a delicious, fresh, tasty meal (you don’t choose what to eat, but it’s all fabulous). Happy Birthday Soph!
Rebecca had to head off to Cambodia today which has given me a break from the HK expat life (i.e. constant eating/drinking/partying) and some time to tick the tourist boxes. I took the tram up to ‘The Peak’ and took a walk with incredible views of the Island. One side is practically empty and the other looks like this.
