Day 112: HK airport

Most of today was spend stressing out about a non-existent flight.

There are, however, some great things about Hong Kong airport. This mini-bean sculpture is one of them; the other is a FANTASTIC service called City Check-in, whereby you can check-in to your flight in the city centre and your luggage is transported to the aiport. You can do this first thing in the morning and have a productive day (at work / sightseeing / whatever you want) and just turn up at the airport in time to get through immigration and security. Other airports of the world, take note.

Day 90: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Today I visited the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, with my friend and ex-colleague Wojtek. The sanctuary has been running for over 80 years, starting with just two koalas. They now maintain a population of around 130. I also saw kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, dingos, tasmanian devils, and much more besides.
